Loved this little spot! Restaurant Taghazout is simple, friendly, and super affordable — perfect if you’re craving a good Moroccan meal without spending much. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff make you feel right at home. The food is straightforward and tasty, the kind of home-style cooking that hits the spot. Prices are excellent for the portions you get, which makes it a great everyday choice. Just don’t come expecting anything fancy — the place is basic, but that’s exactly part of its charm.
Super fast service, delicious local food in a locals restaurant! I had a full meal, couldn't eat it all, for less than US 4$!

Loved this place so much! It’s right around the corner for the popular touristy spots and filled with locals. Came during late lunch and there were plenty of seats. High quality food and quality for a local pieces. We were quickly served and everything was amazing. Typical Moroccan food options. Highly recommend!

So this dinner was absolutely great. We found the restaurant while walking through the streets, it's very local and authentic - and the food was some of the best we had in Morocco. The tajines were wonderfully flavoured and spicy, the starters were also delicious, I definitely recommend!
Best food in rabat medina. Fresh delicious tasty. We came here 3 times on our trip. Staff very friendly. Plat legumes are top notch!!! tagine v hachee oeuf is best tajine we have had in morocco!!
This is a very cost-effective restaurant, and many locals eat here. We went quite late, so they only had the meat and egg stew tagine left. I must say, the tagine prices in Rabat are much more reasonable than in Marrakech. Bread is complimentary, and you can get refills. They also give you a bowl of hot soup, a plate of potato and carrot stew, and two cups of sweet tea at the end. I highly recommend it.
